Disconnect your device. Click “Devices” at the top of the TomTom HOME screen and select “Disconnect Device” from the drop-down menu. Unplug the device from its syncing cable and resume use.
To update the TomTom map, follow these instructions-
- Install TomTom home on your computer. Then, connect the computer with the navigation device.

- Click on the Tools menu and then go to ‘Use the Latest Map Guarantee’ option.

- After that, click Continue and follow the given instructions on the screen. This will download the new update on the device.
- After the installation is complete, the page gets redirected to My Content page. The status at this time on My Drive Connect changes to ‘Connected’. After seeing the ‘Connected’ status and the message that the installation has completed, disconnect the navigation device from the computer.
- Now, the device can be used with the latest maps.
