As for the rest of your users, their services and solutions are hobbled somewhat.
With access to their Office 365 accounts blocked, your users will lose access to their email services and OneDrive for Business files. Other locally-installed applications will only offer limited functionality – including the inability to edit and save your files. The global administrator still has the option to resume the licensing subscription at this point.
Step 3: Deprovisioned
Once 121 days have passed, however, even administrators lose access to any data that remains on the servers. No more backups can be taken, and applications and services rendered inaccessible. As a matter of fact, Microsoft will begin to remove your data from its servers at this point, which you can have sped up through a process known as expedited deprovisioning. At this point, if your business wants to continue utilizing Office 365, new subscriptions need to be started.
Check your Expiration Status
- Go to your Services & subscription page.
- If prompted, choose Sign in and enter the Microsoft account email and password associated with your Office 365 subscription.
- Review the details under the Services & Subscriptions heading.
- If you see a circle arrow, then your subscription set up for recurring billing, unless you turn recurring billing off or cancel it beforehand. The next charge info shows you when you’ll be charged next, and for how much.
- If you see Expires on [date], then your subscription will expire on that date, unless you renew.

How to turn it off?
Renew your subscription to Office 365 by doing one of the following:
- If you see Renew MS Office Subscription in the yellow warning bar, select Buy, and follow the steps to renew your subscription online.
- User sees MS Office Expired in the yellow warning bar, select Reactivate, and then select Buy to renew Office online. If you bought a new, unused Office 365 product key from a retailer, select Enter Key.

Why does Product Deactivation Happen?
The Office installs on your computer signed out or deactivated using the instructions in Deactivate an Office 365 install. Typically done to allow you to sign in to another Office device (Office 365 Home) or to free up an Office install (Office 365 for business).

Select Sign in and enter your Office 365 account. This will activate Office. If you’ve reached your sign-in limit (Office 365 Home). There is no Office installation left (Office 365 for business). Sign out of or deactivate another Office install using the steps in Deactivate an Office 365 install.
