Do you need a full-size keyboard or can you cope with a compact keyboard? What does your current laptop keyboard look like and how do you get on with it? How much usage will your keyboard get daily? A compact keyboard may be a bit of a novelty at first but if you depend on your laptop for work purposes then you may see that a compact keyboard is pretty frustrating and useless to use for longer than a few minutes.
Reputation Of The Seller
Where you buy your laptop from is just as important as the brand you purchase. There are lots of fake websites out there, selling fake and counterfeit laptops which look just like the right thing, so ensure that the website or store you buy from has a good reputation. A good website or store will be one that features trusted and honest reviews and it will also be on hand to provide guidance and support, even after you have made a purchase.
Take your time when researching which laptop to buy. Specifications can vary within brands, and even within models, so ensure that you get a specification that will last you now and in the future. Work out how much you can afford to spend early on and stick to it as much as possible. Buying a laptop with all singing and dancing gaming graphics is good if you are using it for gaming, but, if you are using it simply to buy clothes and food, it will be a complete waste of time and money.
