  1. Download iCloud for Windows. If it doesn’t install automatically, go to File Explorer and open iCloud Setup.
  2. Restart your computer.
  3. Make sure iCloud for Windows is open. If it doesn’t open automatically, go to Start, open Apps or Programs, and open iCloud for Windows.
  4. Enter your Apple ID to sign in to iCloud.
  5. Choose the features and content that you want to keep up to date across your devices.
  6. Click Apply.

  • To manage your Apple ID, open iCloud for Windows and click Account details. Click Manage Apple ID.

Create a New iCloud Email Account on Your iPhone or iPad

  1. Open the App Store and Tap the face icon.
  2. Tap Create New Apple ID. If you don’t see this option, you may be signed in to iCloud with another account. Sign out of iCloud to start from scratch.
  3. Create your email address with an icloud.com suffix. You’ll be asked about the country or region, which must match your billing address for your payment method
  4. Tap Agree to Terms and Conditions, then tap Next.
  5. Enter your name and birthday and tap Next.
  6. Enter your credit card and billing information, or choose None, and enter your payment details later. Tap Next.
  7. Confirm your phone number. Tap Next.
  8. Check your email for a verification email from Apple and follow the steps to verify your email address.

Create a New iCloud Email Account on Your iPhone or iPad with iTunes

  1. If you don’t have an Apple ID account, you can make a new iCloud email with an iCloud.com address.
  2. From the launchpad, Open iTunes.
  3. From the menu bar at the top of your computer screen or at the top of the iTunes window, choose Account Sign In Create New Apple ID.
  4. Read and agree to the Terms and Conditions and Apple Privacy Policy.
  5. Create your email address to create your new Apple ID, using an icloud.com suffix.
  6. Answer the security questions and click Continue
  7. Enter your credit card and billing information or skip and save for later. Click Continue.
  8. Check your email for a verification email from Apple and follow the steps to verify your email address.

  1. Create an iCloud account on an iPhone or iPad. Before you can create an icloud.com email address on your Windows device, you must set up an iCloud account on an Apple device using a non-Apple email address, such as @gmail.com or @outlook.com.
  2. Open your iPhone or iPad’s Settings.
  3. Tap iCloud.
  4. Slide the “Mail” switch to the position. A pop-up will appear, asking you to create your icloud.com email address.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to select an email ID. You may be prompted to enter your passcode or use Touch ID to create your account. Once the process is complete, your iCloud email will be ready to use.
  6. Download and install iCloud for Windows. If you haven’t yet installed the application, go to https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204283 and click Download to do so now. Once the download is complete, double-click the downloaded file to complete the setup process.
  7. Open iCloud. You’ll find it in the Windows/Start menu in the iCloud folder.
  8. Enter your Apple ID and password and click sign in. Once your account information is accepted, you’ll see your iCloud home screen.
  9. Check the box next to “Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and Tasks.” Once selected, your iCloud email will appear as a folder in your Windows email clients, such as Outlook or Windows Mail.
